Artist Statement

My photographic images reflect on the different perceptual modes of seeing. I am interested in the structures behind/beyond reality.
I relate with inner and outer spaces in similar ways as dancers do ... the "dance" is based on structures or patterns, light and spatial reflections. In any case, the selection of most of the images for Premio ORA imply movement as a visual motor for the image.

The majority of the presented images are taken from a larger work entitled: Poetics of the Last Days. It is planned to be published as a photo-book in a limited edition.

The title: 'Poetics of Last Days' is in reference to a quote from F. Kafka: "The Messiah will only come when it is no longer neccessary, he will come the day after his arrival, he will not appear on the last day, but on the very last."

It is a solo show project  consisting of drawings, installations, projections and photography. It has not yet been shown publically. (Here is your chance to be the first one-:))))

The choice I present here has an emphasis on the human figure in movement/ space, on domestic dream-like scenes -the 10 images  could also be seen as a a travelogue through time and different places.
